Hello!
I have my love of photography from my father.
My father would take pictures of everything. He didn’t mind if the framing was out of kilter and many images would include his thumb, but those snaps always fascinated me. Sometimes, when photographing the family on holiday, it would appear that the background was the thing in focus. I think my father enjoyed the mystery of not knowing what would appear, hence the huge amount of photos he took.

‘PHOTOGRAPHS AND THE ODD WORDS’ is the culmination of four years of unashamedly digital photography. Using the tiny Canon IXUS 110 IS (now discontinued) I was able to photograph anything, from any angle, while walking up to three dogs at the same time.
So I did.
My photographs were taken in North Norfolk, London, France and New York. Again, using a tiny camera was an advantage.
